’90s Kids Rejoice: Diva Cup Announces New Product That Also Doubles as a Dear Diary

Diva Cup has been delivering a better period experience for women all over the world. Those who hate tampons are ecstatic about this reusable feminine product that promises 12-hour leak free protection. But Diva Cup isn’t just stopping at period products, the company is now teaming up with ’90s kids favorite toy Dear Diary to provide a better hiding place for your secrets.

The electronic diary, which came out in the 1990s, was targeted towards young girls who needed a place to share stories about cute boys and to vent about how much they hated their step-dad. The toy was on every trendy young teens christmas list and was considered a status symbol among prepubescent gals.

Today, Diva Cup is hoping to bring back some of that nostalgia of 90s with their new product that doubles as both a menstrual cup AND digital diary!

“Everyone has been so reminiscent of the 90s lately,” says CEO Carinne Chambers-Saini, “we wanted to bring our customers a product that showed we were listening to them.”

The new product, which will be on drugstore shelves in Spring 2018, will hold both women’s menstrual discharge AND their deepest, darkest secrets.

Diva Cup and Dear Diary promises that their customers secrets will be safe in their new product.

“I mean, who is going to want to look at your diary if it’s been in your cooter all day?” says Marketing Executive Dana Banks. “This way you can dish about how much you loathe your boyfriend or how you’re secretly stealing money from your local charity and no one will find out.”

We can’t wait to try out the new collab!
