Feminist Win! We Photoshopped These Gorgeous Cover Models To Look Like Shrek

For decades, fashion magazines have capitalized on women’s insecurities. Wrinkles, stretch marks, and acne are consistently photoshopped out of images hoping to convince women they need to buy products in order to change themselves.

Today, we put an end to that.

That’s right, we’ve photoshopped some gorgeous cover models to prove that all women are beautiful, whether their skin is baby smooth or swamp green.

This cover model is unbelievably pretty, but what if she looked like Shrek?

That’s right, this woman radiates beauty even when we photoshop her to look like Dreamworks’ grumpiest swamplord, Shrek.

Really goes to show that all women are beautiful just the way they are!

Need more proof? Just check out this conventionally attractive model, airbrushed on the left and photoshopped to look like Shrek on the right:

Whoa. Even with Shrek’s unreasonably low forehead and gaping mouth, this woman is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S.

But we know it’s not just women who feel the pressure from fashion magazines to have flawless skin and symmetrical features. Fellas, here’s one for you to prove beauty has no gender OR species.

If your feminism is truly intersectional, you have to understand that beauty comes in all genders, shapes, and sizes.

True feminism is body positive. Check out this stunning model we photoshopped with Shrek’s body to prove every body is beautiful.

Whoa. Talk about powerful.

Next time you look at a super photoshopped image of a cover model, just think about that model photoshopped even more to look like Shrek.

That model is beautiful either way, just like you.

Remember, you can’t spell “gorgeous” without “ogre.”
