Feminist Icon Taylor Swift Opens Up About That Bitch She Hates

Friend to all women and leader of the current third wave feminist movement, Taylor Swift is back to discuss important women’s issues. Namely, why she hates that bitch Katy Perry so much.

Unlike the vast majority of people who simply dislike Perry for her underwhelming vocals and nonsensical lyrics, Swift’s hatred comes from a personal place. Following the release of her single “Bad Blood” in 2014 rumors of her righteous hatred for her fellow pop-star began to circulate.

“She just did something so horrible.” Swift said in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2014. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies’. And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business.”

Swift nobly takes celebrity cat-fights somewhere celebrity cat-fights have never gone before, and that somewhere doesn’t involve a man! Swift’s ingenious move to collaborate with another woman in her industry only to stir up some real feminist discourse in the mainstream media is inspiring, and it doesn’t stop there.

In a show of solidarity for Katy Perry’s new album, “Witness,” Swift has conveniently released all her music on Spotify on the exact same day. Nothing says sisterhood like vengeance, and Swift really knows how to show her support for her fellow woman!

Oh, and the actual feud was over dancers who performed for both artists who Swift allegedly had fired for asking if they could go on tour with Perry after their contracts were up. Swift just knew this was the right way to handle this, and shine light on how empowering it can be for women to publicly despise one another.
